Dear Didy,
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for providing me with a scholarship. Your generosity has not only eased my burden financially but has also given me great motivation and encouragement spiritually. I sincerely thank you for your great support, which has enabled me to pursue my musical aspirations with greater determination and a stronger sense of mission and to continue to improve and breakthrough myself in the process. This scholarship is not only a material support for me, but also provides sense of your trust and expectation, I will repay your kindness with more hard work and better results. Thank you again for your selfless dedication and trust in me, I will live up to your expectations and strive to realise my musical dreams.
This term I performed a recital in Westminster and took part in the Tunbridge Wells International Piano Competition. Most importantly, I completed my Artist Diploma Graduation Concert on the 6th of June, which was a great success, playing challenging I performed three challenging pieces, Brahms Piano Sonata No.3, Medtner's Sonata of Reminiscences and Ravel's Grand Ballade.
During the holidays, I will attend the graduation ceremony at the RCM in July, then travel to Europe to participate in music festivals and piano competitions in Spain and Italy, then I will go back to my home country to see my family, and before the school year starts I will find a job related to piano teaching.
Thank you once again for all your help during my studies and the honour of being invited to perform at the Knights of the Round Table luncheon, I will never forget your help and support!
Yours sincerely,
Tianlang Zhou
