Update from Marvin Beli 14 September 2020
Dear Mrs Grahame,
I would like to take this opportunity and express my endless gratitude towards you on funding me the Knights of the Round Table Award!
My name is Marvin Beli and I am a 20 years old piano student from Tirana, Albania. Starting on September, it will be my first year studying at the Royal College of Music in London.
I choose RCM because of the brilliant and prestigious reputation it holds, the opportunities it offers and the fact that it has always been my dream college since I started to play the piano.
After I got the news that my audition was successful and I had also been awarded a scholarship, my happiness was indescribable.
Now that I have been given the chance to send a personal message to my donor, I am even more happy.
The importance and the impact left on me from the scholarship and your generosity is life changing! Me and my family would never be able to afford the tuition fees of the RCM and that is the reason I was close to giving up the idea of auditioning there but hope still prevailed.
I really, really am extremely grateful and I want to say that this is the best thing that has happened in my life, ever, and the feeling of having my biggest dream come true is amazing!
This scholarship funding has motivated me a lot for further and my confidence is much greater.
I cannot thank you enough for this extraordinary gift, but I know for sure that if it weren’t for your help, I would not be able to start this new chapter of my life.
I thank you again also on behalf of my parents! I wish you all the best of this world! Respectfully and forever gratefully!
Yours sincerely,
Marvin Beli
