IN MEMORIAM, ANNE MALLINSON

On 17 May, a Memorial Service was held at St John's Church, Hyde Park Crescent, to celebrate the life of Anne Mallinson, Honorary Knight and widow of Terence Mallinson, our previous Knight President.

Part of the uplifting service was the dedication of a door into the vestry, which was commissioned by the family on behalf of their parents, who worshipped at the church for more than 60 years.

The impressive work includes a symbolic Excalibur and reflects the magnificent support given to The Knights by Terence and Anne over many years.

The door is a fitting tribute to a couple who contributed outstandingly to charitable activity and public service.
